I find it more humorous how Mortis acts big but really he just came here because he got kicked out of the west by cheating Russians tired of him doing nothing for them, going as far as declaring him a coward, so he comes here to "invade" but really he just temples everyone. Mortis is the hot potato nobody wants to be stuck with it seems, not a hot-shot to be afraid of.
